My sister's visit was awesome. It felt like we were never apart, and when she left, I missed her before she was even halfway to California. Her spending time with us makes me a little sad that Stryker reenlisted. I know that it the best decision for us right now, but spending time with her makes me realize that I want to just be closer to our families. Granted, being in Georgia, we will be closer to them, but I doubt we will see them any more often than we did while we were here.
The dolphin swim was amazing. We bought some of the pictures, but we don't have a scanner here, so I will have to upload them later. Fuzz loved it too. It was a really neat experience, I recommend it to anyone! We got to kiss her, dance with her, and Stryker got to feed her a fish. That was right up his alley.
By the way, do you think she likes Fuzz much?

Yay!
My sister gets here today!
On the schedule:
* Run with Stryker
* Shower
* Pick up lei
* Pick up one of my favorite people!
We don't have a lot on the agenda, although Stryker & I are surprising her with a dolphin swim on one of her last days here. She is going to flip. Should be a lot of relaxing, and quality bonding time. I can't believe how much I've missed her!

Take 2
I can't believe that my sister will be here tomorrow already! That snuck up so fast, and I am so very excited. When I think about what Fuzz was like when we left in February, and what she is like now, I realize how much she has changed. My sister is just going to eat her up. I can't wait!
Today has been a potty training day. Don't worry, it hasn't been nearly as traumatic exciting as last time. Not that I'm going to test it with piggy-back rides or anything. The last few days she's been wanting to sit on her potty a lot. Mostly right after she's gone to the bathroom in her diaper, so I think it's starting to click. So today, after I took her first diaper off this morning, she wanted to sit on it, peed, and I decided today would be a no-diaper kind of day. So far she's doing well with it. I've yet to get a decent picture, but she likes to read while she's on the potty. How funny is that?!?

24 and a half
My sister loves her birthday so much that she even celebrates her half-birthday. Yes, my sister is 24 years old, and still celebrates her half-birthday.
Because she celebrates it, I made her these.

Happy half-birthday sweet sister!

Happy Birthday
to me!
When I heard Fuzz for the first time this morning at the sweet hour of 8:15 I thought, she knows it's my birthday and she let me sleep in this morning! The sweetness ended shortly after that. She was crabby and she bit me. Hard. Teeth marks through my shirt. It was after approximately 4 times of telling her no biting. She went into time out and hated it. I only left her there for about a minute, and thankfully there wasn't anymore biting after that.
After her morning nap, which she fought, just like she has been for the last week, she was in much better spirits. The day just got better from there.
A package from Stryker with a teddy bear and bath items. Lunch with my mom and sister while my dad babysat. They really went all out. These were on the table as we walked in.
Following lunch, we went to a wine bar. We sampled a few wines, bought a bottle we all agreed on and shared it while relaxing and visiting. After that we returned to my house and my mom brought a ice cream cake. Yummy! Once everyone left I found this on my bed. Note the little signature.
I have a wonderful family. It was a great day.

My bloggies get it...
My sister thought my interpretation of my MIL's immaturity and whining was ridiculous. She pretty much even yelled at me. "Oh, stop it, you know that's not what she meant. She just wants Stryker to still be living there."
Um yeah, that's the point.

Sisterhood
I love spending time with my sister. She always seems to brighten my spirits. Her nickname since birth has been Bouker (pronounced boo, like scary). I have no idea why my aunt always called her that, but it stuck.
She is two years younger than me and is my only sibling. Since we were fairly close in age we fought like crazy when we were younger. I'm talking "I hate you"s, nasty letters, and physical fighting. On one occasion she hit me over the head with an empty coffee can. No matter the things I've done to her, this is my blog and I maintain my innocence. *sly grin* My parents would get so mad at our fighting. Today we couldn't be closer. We are different in many ways but there is something about the bond of sisterhood. Everything you went through as a child, she did too.
Because I moved back by my family during My Love's deployment (we'll call him Stryker from here on out), I've gotten to spend a lot more time with her and it's wonderful. I missed her more than I realized...
